Removable chafe gear
Megafend removable chafe gear wraps are available in standard and custom lengths and choices of materials to fit popular line sizes.
Custom Megafend chafe gear is also available to fit other line sizes. We also fabricate chafe gear to cover tapered line splices.
Each is designed for heavy use applications, wearability and securely installs without ties at the point of use to create a protective wrap on lines.
All are readily applied or easily removed without need to undo line ends.
• Fluffy chafe gear wrap of soft sheep wool/skin is used where fender lines or dock lines can rub against paint or Gelcoat surfaces.
Available in white or black (ONLY use black fluffy on black lines to avoid possible color bleed).
